AIApply review: what you see before you can try it

Most AIApply reviews start inside the product. This one could not: on 24 September 2026, the AutoApply sign-up went from onboarding questions straight to a plan screen, with no product screen before payment. So this AIApply review covers what that screen showed, what AIApply’s own terms say, and what we could not check.

AIApply reviews: what we could check, and what we could not

What we could check is the sign-up path up to payment and AIApply’s public pages. The owner of this site went through the AutoApply onboarding on 24 September 2026 and reached a plan screen with no way past it except paying. So there is no hands-on account here of the résumé tools, the cover letters or the applications.

We also did not read the Trustpilot page or the Reddit threads that rank for AIApply reviews, so we repeat no rating and no user quote. Read them directly; they are the other half of the picture.

Is AIApply legit?

AIApply is a real, named company that publishes its terms and takes payment through Stripe; beyond that, we could not verify its claims. Its terms of service name AIApply Ltd., registered in England and Wales, company number 15200716, with an office in Leicester. The terms are versioned (v2.2, last updated 7 September 2026). We did not look the company up on the UK register ourselves.

Two things on the plan screen have no source shown. A badge reads “Loved by 2m+ jobseekers”. A card labelled “PREVIEW” reads “34 applications sent for you”. That is an illustration, not the user’s own data: nothing had been sent.

How much does AIApply cost?

On 24 September 2026, AIApply’s plan screen offered three plans: $49 a month, $99 a month, or $199 every three months. None of these figures is on its public pricing page, which prints no price at all; they appear only after onboarding.

• Starter: $49 billed monthly (shown as $12 a week). Up to 200 custom job matches a day.
• Pro: $99 billed monthly (shown as $23 a week). Up to 500 matches a day.
• Pro+: $199 billed every 3 months (shown as $16 a week). “Infinite” matches. It was marked “Best value” and selected by default.

Each price sat next to a struck-through higher one: $74, $149 and $299 for the billed amounts, and $16, $33 and $21 for the weekly ones. We cannot tell whether those higher prices were ever charged. The terms say subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the term ends.

Two things pushed toward buying on the spot. A banner read “Discount expires in 09:57 · One Time Only: Get 30% Off Today”. A card read “Save $329 for every day you shorten your job search”. That $329 is the salary floor entered during onboarding, $119,952, divided by 365. It is not a measured saving.

Is AIApply free?

Partly: AIApply’s pricing page says you can make a free account and try some tools, but the auto-apply path we took asked for payment first. Its FAQ says a free account can do things like “generating a sample cover letter or browsing the job board”, “especially when you sign up through the resume builder”. It also says there is no timed trial. We did not try the résumé-builder path.

Does AIApply work?

We could not test whether AIApply works, because the plan screen came before any trial of sending. We saw no application go out, no answers it wrote, and no reply from an employer. The only application count on the screen was a preview, not a result.

AIApply does not promise a result either. Its terms say its AI output “may be inaccurate, incomplete or out-of-date”, that you “must verify accuracy and suitability before relying on or submitting it”, and that “we do not guarantee any outcome”.

Do you see an application before AIApply sends it?

It depends on the mode, according to AIApply’s terms. They describe a Review mode, where you approve each match before it applies. In Hybrid mode it applies to high-fit roles on its own and shows you the lower-fit ones first. In Auto mode it applies “in line with the settings and criteria you have set”.

The plan screen itself mentions no review step. Its headline says AutoApply “finds the roles that fit you and sends the applications, every day”. We could not see which mode a new account starts in.

Can you get a refund from AIApply?

Only in narrow cases, according to AIApply’s terms: fees are non-refundable except where the law requires or its specific terms say otherwise. The plan screen says “Cancel anytime. No lock-in. No questions asked.” Cancelling stops the next charge; it is not a refund.

The terms, as published on 24 September 2026, name these cases:

• A verified technical issue that stops you using the service, with evidence such as screenshots. You must contact support first.
• An accidental purchase reported within 30 minutes, with no meaningful use.
• Renewals are “generally not” refunded.
• Auto-Apply is “a non-refundable product”; refunds are “not available after applications have been submitted”.
• UK buyers give up the usual 14-day right to cancel for digital services.

The pricing page’s FAQ is softer. It says refunds are handled “on a case-by-case basis” and that AIApply “often” gives prorated refunds or credits when something goes wrong.

Where RoleInbox is different
